Pantone has released their report of the trendiest colours that dominated the Spring/Summer shows this season, and they are all about comfort, leisure, earthliness, vitality, joy, and flamboyance. While the first three phrases promote an idea of relaxation, the latter three exude rigour and drive. They seem contradictory on first look, but not necessarily.
A hint of cheekiness in something formal is not always a bad idea. After all, playful moments create the best memories, and I do hope my workwear designs reflect that.

A one-piece pantsuit worn within an outerwear of warmer combination of primrose yellow and pale dogwood (or pale pink, as most of us would call it) seems like a playful twist to the usual workwear.

This one piece duo-tone culotte suit is my favourite. While retaining the structural formality of office wear, the bold flame colour shows off your feisty side. Don’t worry that you’ll look way too bold, though, the hazelnut is a great colour to keep things grounded and down to earth.

Last but not least, if you’re more into dresses than pants, you may be attracted to this piece. Kale is a relatively muted color that is less eye-catching. I've spiced it up with primrose yellow and flame to add a certain liveliness to the piece.
Do you approve of Pantone’s list? Let me know what you think about the designs!
